BRITISH STANDARD 8501:2002

This British Standard is related to ISO 7001:1990 but is not equivalent in technical content. This British Standard differs from ISO 7001 in two main ways. Firstly, it is more comprehensive and contains a much larger number of graphical symbols. Secondly, it is the image that is standardized instead of the written description.

The preparation of this British Standard was entrusted by Technical Committee PH/8, Graphical symbols, to Subcommittee PH/8/2, Public information graphical symbols and signs.
